Warren Ed Johnson, 80, of Worth County, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the home of his daughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2023, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Shiver officiating. A private family Interment will follow. Colin Boyd, Jason Montgomery, Billy Harrison, David Royal, Timothy Holton, and Chris Thomas will serve as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held one hour before the service in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on October 31, 1942, in Colquitt County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Delford Lee Johnson and Thelma Causey Johnson. He was a union welder and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Johnson also served in The United States Army Reserve.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, first wife Sonja Gail Rodenberry; second wife, Gale Tyson Johnson; daughter, Faith Johnson; siblings, WD Johnson, Virgi Lee Bledsoe, Betty Sue McWilliams; son-in-law. Virgil Boyd.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughters, Cathy Johnson, Debbie Johnson Powers and husband Willis, Tammy Johnson all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jason Montgomery, Stephen Padgett, Billy Harrison, Sonya Padgett, David Royal, Heather Royal Moreau, Tiffany Powers, and Colin Boyd; and 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Ann Harrison, and Charles Johnson all of Moultrie.
