My heart pours out to the Kane family at your tremendous loss. Mr. Kane was one of the kindest most amazing men I have ever known. He always had a smile and a helping had for me when I was growing up. I'll never forget that he helped get me my first real job back in high school (Parking Lot attendant for the Senate). I was the only high school kid working there thanks to his recommendation. The money earned there helped put me through college. I am now an engineer with my own company and it all stared back in the 1970's with a helping hand from a great man who had faith in me. We were all very blessed to have had him among us and our love for him and our wonderful memories of time spent with him will keep him with us all forever.

To Warren's beloved family:
I feel such thankfulness for Warren's life. The combination of his good will, focus, wisdom, and persuasion advanced the causes of Hope College as well as many other aspects of civic life. His presence was always a gift, his disposition sunny, his Christianity transparent, and his strategies for accomplishing joint goals sound and ethical. I am privileged to have known him over the years. Respectfully, Beth DuMez

Warren Kane was a remarkable leader of
the "Tyner's Tigers" Class of Kiwanis Lieutenant Governors in 2000. He went on to be a visionary Governor of Kiwanis's Capital District. His accomplishments resulted from his willingness to work hard, travel, inspire and lead others by example. We were honored to serve with him as Lieutenant Governors and equally honored to work for him, because his life defined the concept of community service. Our deepest condolences to Dale and the family.

Warren Kane left a wide wake in our community thru his service in Kiwanis, his church and many programs such as Arlington's leading non-profit food assistance program, AFAC. He mentored people in a way that helped them discover talents and abilities they might not have otherwise known they had. His recent service as Governor of Kiwanis' Capital District is especially notable, and his leadership example for the multi-state area of that District will be greatly missed.
