Born August 25, 1935 —died July 6, 2025
Warren died peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in the presence of his wife, his sister and many members of his family at Dunwoody Village, where he and his wife Arline had lived for almost eight years. Born in the Bronx, New York, to Sadie and Morris Lieberman, Warren attended the Bronx High School of Science, Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This educational foundation led to his career as a Metallurgical Engineer in the field of aviation. After being employed by Curtis Wright, and Pratt and Whitney, he enjoyed a long tenure with Boeing specializing in their helicopter division in Delaware County, known at the time as Vertol. He earned a patent for the company which involved a manufacturing process for helicopter rotor blades. After retirement, Warren was almost immediately employed as a consultant to attorneys in the firm of Consulting Engineers and Scientists.
The loving father of three sons, Bruce (Ann), Jeffrey (Terry), and Eric (Andi),Warren was also the proud grandfather of Heidi Lieberman, Devin Lieberman(Kady), Roxanne Angrer (Jared), Maya Nadler (Jordan), Noah Lieberman, Miranda Lieberman (Marco Newsome), Arden Lieberman, Jona Lieberman (Logan Meyer),and Alexis Lieberman. He was delighted, in addition to have six great-grandchildren: Emmett, Cassie, Sadie, Adina, J.J. and Jaxson. Some of Warren’s favorite occupations were as a scoutmaster, world traveler and photographer. Most recently, he headed the Audio-Visual committee for the Dunwoody Residents Association.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Temple Sholom in Broomall, 55 North Church Lane. A private family burial will take place after the service. For those who wish to make a donation in his memory, you may do so to a charity of your choosing.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
