Warren Curtis Shutler Jr. passed away on September 17th, 2025 in Muskogee. He was born November 1st, 1964 to his parents Warren Curtis Shutler Sr. and Dorothy "Cantrell" Shutler. He grew up at Oklahoma City where he received his education. He began a career as a maintenance repair man for Remington Place Apartments. He later moved to Checotah around 2005 where he made his home. He loved fishing, hunting, his dog, and he loved kids. He's survived by his mother, Dorothy Shutler of Keota; 2 Sisters, Lavonne Maddox and husband Robert Maddox Sr. of Wayne, Ok; Patsy Dunning and husband Darren of Edmond, Ok; 2 Brothers, Robert Shutler of Oklahoma City, Steven Shutler of Keota; Nieces and nephews, Robert Maddox, Jr., Jesse Maddox, Robert Shutler Jr. and wife Laken, Lisa Robins and husband Dylan, Josh Shutler; a great nephew, Damien Shutler; Uncle Tom Shutler of Checotah. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Shutler, Sr.; his grandparents. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday September 23, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jack Sloan officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Maddox Jr., Isaac Coffman, Robert Shutler Jr., Keith Carshall, Tranny Coffman, John White. Honorary pallbearers include Jesse Maddox, Josh Shutler, Payton Lyons, Darren Dunning, Robert Maddox Sr., Dylan Robins, Damien Shutler. Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
