Wayne Boucvalt passed away on January 20, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, family, and lifelong friendships.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence X. Boucvalt and Eltheridge Bourgeois Boucvalt; and his brothers, Lawrence Boucvalt and John Boucvalt.

Wayne is survived by his loving partner, Kathleen Franke; his sons, Shane Boucvalt and Garrett Boucvalt; and his grandchildren, Taylor Boucvalt, Kylie Boucvalt, and Kailyn Boucvalt, who brought him immense pride and joy.

He is also survived by his brothers, Jobe Boucvalt and James Boucvalt; along with many close cousins and extended family members who will miss him deeply.

Wayne was a proud 1967 graduate of St. Charles Borromeo High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. He went on to build a long and respected career at the Shell Oil Refinery in Norco, Louisiana, where he worked for many years and formed lasting friendships through his dedication and strong work ethic.

A devoted sports fan, Wayne especially enjoyed supporting the LSU Tigers. He was also a talented musician who loved entertaining others, often sharing his music to bring joy, laughter, and togetherness to family gatherings and friendships.

Wayne will be remembered for his loyalty to family, his steady presence, his love of music, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home. Visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow the services at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina, La.
