I believe I had met Wayne one time, so I didn´t know him personally. But, you can tell many things about a person via the legacy they leave behind. I had the great pleasure of working with his daughter, Lisa, at BG&E. From his resume, I could tell he had a part in raising a very professional and accomplished woman.
Having been at a funeral earlier today, we always think that if only there could have been one more day...now, in those days ahead, Wayne will live on via the many joyous memories and stories told that relive his life and interactions with all of his family.
My deepest regards,
Jim Thurber

Sandra, I was so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. We did a lot of things together back in our early years in Morganton and MHS. I have great memories of those days. My heartfelt condolences to you and all who knew and loved Wayne. Again, I am so sorry. Ronnie Williams
