Wayne L. Carter

Wayne L. Carter, aged 79, of The Colony, Texas, passed away January 4, 2026. He was born November 30, 1946, to Colie and Evelyn (White) Carter, in Atlanta, Georgia.

He married the love of his life, Donna Carter on December 7, 1968, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife Donna Carter, of The Colony, Texas; Son John Wayne Carter and Wife Jennifer, of Fairview, Texas; Daughters, Melissa Marie Dinsdale and Husband Nickolas, of Carrollton, Texas, Amy Diane Carter, of Little Elm, Texas, and Jessica Amber Carter, of The Colony, Texas; Grandchildren, Madeline and Grace Carter, of Fairview, Texas, and Evelyn and Olivia Dinsdale, of Carrollton, Texas; and Sister Patricia McFall and Husband Larry, of Lawrenceville, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his Son, David Carter, and his Parents, Colie and Evelyn Carter.

Wayne lived his life loving God, country, family, friends, the great outdoors and the Marines. We are blessed to have loved and known him for three-quarters of a century.
