Wayne "Mickey" Cione, age 72, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2025, at his residence.

Born February 26, 1953, in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late James and Joann (Bougher) Cione.

Wayne graduated from Sharon High School in 1971 and went to work for Sharon Steel, where he worked for 15 years in the 6 pickel line. He also worked for Independent Draft and Gear.

In his spare time, he liked to play Bocce, go bowling, was an avid collector of just about anything but especially comic books and baseball cards. He also liked going to flea markets and wrestling. Wayne was a member of the Farrell American Legion, Farrell VFW and the Italian Home.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa C. Delgros, of W. Middlesex, PA, and Jennifer A. Cione, of Naples, FL, a son, Shawn M. Cione, of Colorado, two half-brothers, Jamie Cione of New York and Robbie Robich, of Sharon, PA, a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Marinelli, of Florida, six grandchildren, Alexandra M. Cione and her fiancée, Sean Carter, Tristen Delgros, Ethan Delgros, Elliana Beers, Christian Cione and Faith Tjetje and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Adrianne Cione and Eleanor "Lizzy" Ulan and two nephews, Justin Ulan and Brian Cione.

A gathering time will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM from the funeral home with Fr. Glenn Whitman Officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
