Wayne Crawford

Wayne Crawford, 72, of Starke, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He was born on December 2, 1952, in Jacksonville, Florida, and spent a life full of love, laughter, and hard work.
Wayne proudly served his country in the United States military and later went on to a long career as a plumber, a trade in which he earned both skill and respect. After retiring, he enjoyed the simple joys of life, spending time in his garden, tending to his flowers, keeping the yard just so, and sketching out drawings that reflected his creative spirit.
Above all, Wayne treasured time with his family. Whether sharing a meal, a laugh, or just a quiet afternoon together, those were the moments that meant the most to him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and devotion that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Crawford, along with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A man of kindness, dedication, and a green thumb, Wayne's presence brightened every garden he touched and every life he encountered. His family takes comfort in knowing his memory will continue to bloom in the lives of those he loved.
