Wayne Crum Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Weber-Hill & Packard Funeral Home - Crandon on Jan. 22, 2026.
Wayne Donald Crum, age 69, of Crandon, Wisconsin, passed away at home on January 17, 2026. Wayne was born on October 4, 1956, in Crandon, where he spent his entire life and had deep roots in the place he called home, "The Valley."
Wayne was a hardworking man who dedicated many years of service to the community through a multitude of roles while being employed at Sparks Grocery Store, Bemis Manufacturing Company, the Forest County Courthouse, and the Crandon School District. Outside of work, Wayne found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was a devoted pet lover, enjoyed bird watching, tended to his gardens, and had a lifelong love for music-often listening to The Beatles and, in his younger days, playing guitar with friends.
Wayne was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patricia "Patty" Kennedy, on August 5, 1978, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crandon. Together they shared 47 years of marriage, marked by love, family, and devotion.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Patty Crum; his children, Patrick (Melissa) Crum, Cassie (Chris) Vande Hei, Kadie (Geoff) Bull; and his cherished grandchildren, Coleman and Brodie Crum, Mckenzie, Maverick, and Ryder Vande Hei, Madelyn and Wesley Bull. He is also survived by his brother, Nick (Jeanne) Crum, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Donald Crum and Lydia Crum (Gumm).
A celebration of life will be held at Wolf River Rendezvous in Crandon on February 15th 11:00-3:00 PM.
