Gregory "Greg" Crum, a beloved son, father, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on December 20, 1934, in Bloomingdale, NJ, he lived a life dedicated to family, friends, and service to his country, touching the hearts of many along the way.
A long-time manager at Bryant Tool in Passaic, NJ, Greg was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. His quiet demeanor often masked a gentle spirit and deep devotion to those around him. He was always around for family and friends, ready with a kind word or gesture. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by those whose lives he enriched.
A proud veteran, Greg served honorably in the Marines during the Korean War. After returning home, he continued to embody the values of dedication and loyalty, not only in his career but also in his personal life. Education played an important part in Greg's journey; he attended St. Anthony's Grammar School and Butler High School, where he laid the foundation for his lifelong endeavors.
In his leisure time, Greg's passion for woodworking blossomed. He found joy in creating beautiful birdhouses and bird feeders, sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family alike. These simple yet meaningful creations reflect the beauty of his character — humble, nurturing, and always giving.
He is survived by his son Scott and his wife Michelle, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish the memories of their time with him.
