Wayne Desilets Obituary
Wayne was born on July 3, 1958 in Minot to Aurice and Ruth (Feland) Desilets. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot Public Schools in 1976. Wayne spent most of his adult years working in the North Dakota oil fields, but also worked for the VA at the John Moses Hospital and in the construction field. He was once married to LaRae Olson, and from that union was born two children, Darrell and Elissa.
Wayne is survived by his son, Darrell (Andy) Desilets, Mandan, ND; daughter, Elissa (Joel) Rhodes, Minot; granddaughters, Makayla, Kaitlyn, Abby, and Quinn; grandsons, Leelyn, Lukus, Tegen, and Noah; sisters, Barbara Freels, Lima, OH, Sharon (Rob) Desilets-Lowe, Minot, ND, Shirley Finnesey, North Pole, AK, and Terri (Alberto) Soleroli, Covington, TN; brother, Gary Desilets, VA; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Desilets; and a niece, Linda Finnesey.
