Wayne Dicken Obituary

Wayne W. Dicken, 67, of Joffre, PA, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was born February 13, 1958 in Bedford, PA, a son of the late Victor and Mary Jane Bussard Dicken. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Regina Lear (late Donald). Wayne graduated from Everett High School. He then graduated from Lancaster Bible College earning a Bachelor of Science in Bible and Almeda College & University, earning a Master of Divinity Degree. He is a US Army Veteran and member of Mercy Baptist Church in Weirton. He loved spending time with his beloved wife Suzanne and caring for his dogs, cats and chickens, especially his Great Danes. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Suzanne Sankey Dicken; stepson, Sterling Cairns; and sisters, Belinda Allison (Sidney) and Diana Fyfe (Lorne). Visitation will take place Sunday, August 10 from 1 to 4 p.m., at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Funeral service will take place Monday at 11 a.m. at Mercy Baptist Church, 3474 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV, with Rev. Marlin Hawley presiding. Military funeral honors will take place at church, rendered by the US Army and American Legion Post No. 10 Honor Guards. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Church Road, Bethel Park, PA. www.steelandwolfe.com
