Wayne Emers Dove

Wayne Emers Dove, 89, of Fulks Run VA, passed away April 2, 2024, at Blue Ridge Health and Rehab.
He was born March 29,1935, in Criders VA, to late Chancie and Glenda Dove.
Wayne was a member of Timberville Church of the Nazarene. He grew up most of his life in the Criders area.
On November 25, 1954, he married the former Deloris Stewart, who preceded him in death on March 3,1997.
Surviving is a daughter Diana Snider of Green Castle PA, grandchildren: Jessica Sherman and Brandon Simpson, five great grandchildren, sister, Lois Wimer of Lacey Springs VA, brothers; James Dove of Cabins WV, Harvie Dove of Fulks Run, and special friend Evelyn Sager.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a brother, Cubby Dove and grandson, Kyle Simpson.
Pastor Todd Thomas will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Timberville Church of the Nazarene. The burial will follow at Caplinger Cemetery.
The casket will be closed. Friends may sign the guestbook from 9 am – 7 pm on Friday at the Grandle Funeral Home. Family will also receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
