Dear, dear Wayne I am so sad to know you are no longer here with us.

Dear Elaine and Daughters and all of you that loved him, please know that I'm praying that you are comforting each other. He and his faithful companion Buddy left very big footprints on me and my family's hearts. Whenever he comes to mind, I smile. I 'm so appreciative for those memories.

Elaine, Meghan, and Kelcie, I am so sorry for your loss. Wayne was an important part of my family's lives since our girls were first on soccer teams together starting in first grade through high school. Wayne was always welcoming and had funny stories and comments to share. I was blessed to be invited to potato soup night at the Gerry home where friendship was shared. My condolences to the Gerry family.

A beautiful obituary! Wayne will be greatly missed. His smile and laughter was definitely infectious. He was the realtor that sold me my house. So, he was one of the first that I met when I moved to Aztec. He left an imprint for sure. Linda Kennedy

Dear Elaine and girls,
I am so sorry for the loss of Wayne. When I was working at the church in Aztec, I would see him on occasion in Rubias...yes, a fitting venue for his memorial. I have moved to Oklahoma and won't be able to attend, but please know you are in my heart and prayers. Comfort to you all as you continue your journeys without him...and his natural gas!
