Wayne Joseph Hebert, 66, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away August 2, 2025, at his camp in Roxie, MS.
Wayne was born July 5, 1959, in Morgan City, the son of Leopold and Alice Hebert.
Wayne was a jack of all trades. If anyone needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He was an avid craftsman and hunter. He looked forward to his daily trips to the Chevron and Pic a Pac. After his morning stops, he would spend most days at his pride, Abear's Home Renovations. He found helping others repair and improve their homes a meaningful and joyful occupation.
He will be sadly and lovingly remembered by his "better half" of 38 years, Floris Marsh Hebert; his children Kevin (Andree) Hebert, Brooke (Brady) Newton and Terasa (Tobbie) LaCoste; and the girls he raised as his own, Jayne (Samuel) Wilburn and Julia (Jeremy) Pearce; grandchildren, Keegan and Chandler Hebert, Bailey Womack, Brody, Bowen, and Baylor Newton, Hayden and Liam LaCoste; 1 great grandchild, Eli; his in-laws, Alvin and Paula Willis; siblings, Judy, Dale, Gene, Perry and Kenneth; his dog Dude, best friend Vernon Teachman, and Kyle Riggins, who was like a son, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Leopold Hebert, his sister Kathie, his father-in-law, Clifton Marsh Jr and his sister-in-law Jodie Horschel.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 at Twin City Funeral home from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will commence at 7 pm at Twin City Funeral Home.
