Wayne Hensley Obituary
Wayne was born Wednesday, December 24, 1955 in Manassas, Virginia to the late Robert Lee Hensley, Sr. and Evelyn Street Hensley. He was a certified GM mechanic and worked for Cowans Automotive and for Shelby Auto for many years. Wayne was an active member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed trout fishing, NASCAR and was an avid Minnesota Vikings football fan.
Left to cherish fond memories are his brother, Robert Hensley, Jr. of Forest City and sister, Elaine Hensley of Warrenton, VA; two nephews, Jason and Shayne Hensley and a host of good friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Peter Suran officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

I just found out Wayne had passed. He was a good friend of mine back when we were teenagers and living in Manassas, Va. Wayne was likeable and just a good person who I cared a lot for. I was just looking up some old friends when I came across this. We had a lot of fun in the old days and although I hadn't seen or heard from him in a long time, I always thought about him. I just found out about Wayne. Prayers for the Family. Wayne was a good Guy and always stood up & placed his hand to his Heart when the National Anthem was played on a Ball Game or Race. Good Friend! RIP Wayne...
