Wayne was born on August 13, 1937 to Guythal and Alice (Bartels) Hibbs in Primrose, Nebraska.
Wayne is survived by his son Wayne (Lynne) Hibbs Jr. of Washington, daughter Elaine (Rob) White of California, grandchildren; Brandy (Roy) Nelson of Washington, Devan Amundsen of California, Tyler White of California and 4 great-grandchildren. Wayne is also survived by his siblings; Ethel Evans, Don Hibbs, Patty Heumiller, Cleo Hibbs and Mary Wraneck.
Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Eugenia Margarita Hibbs, parents Guythal and Alice Hibbs, and his brother Melvin Hibbs.

Wayne you may be gone but not forgotten. It was always great fun times when you and everyone came back to South Dakota. Just spending time with the family was so fun. Listening to some of your stories while my 2 cousins just wanted to go play. I've you and this family. I wish we were all close like everyone once was. Miss you

So sorry to hear about Wayne..Yes we were next door neighbors, although Wayne was a few years older than I am, I remember him and playing with his siblings., and even arguing sometimes! His brother Donnie and I were in the same class.

In our youth, the Hibbs family were are next door neighbors. So we all grew up together. Wayne was the same age as me, so we went through school together. I remember Wayne as a smart, hard working person and he was dam good at marble playing!
