Wayne Hunt

Marlborough, NH - Early Thursday morning on the 30th of November, Wayne Hunt lost his life to an incredibly long and frustrating battle with cancer, with loving family by his side.

Wayne was born in Montpelier VT to John and Ruth Hunt on 11/12/1946. Raised by his dad, he spent his childhood growing up in Marlborough NH. As a boy he was involved with the Boy Scouts. Later in his teen years, he joined the Army Reserves. Wayne always stayed local. In his adult life, Wayne worked a long industrious career in the region, ending with the last 20+years at Filtrine, retiring in 2016 at the age of 70 when his health started to decline.

Wayne is survived by his daughter Jodean Wheeler and her husband Dale Wheeler, his daughter Melannie Solovei and her husband Gregg Solovei. His siter Barbara Wilder and her husband Don Wilder. As well as other siblings Marcella Russell, Zachary Hunt and wife Catrina Hunt. And many grand, and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Susan Hunt and his step daughter Julie Pierce.

Please join family and friends for his celebration of life December 17th, at 1:00 at the American Legion 797 Court St., Keene NH 03431. There will be light snacks and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Home Healthcare Hospice of Keene.
