Obituary
Lexington – Mr. Wayne Herbert Jeffcoat, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
Wayne is the loving husband of Mary Jeffcoat, they have been married for 54 years. He is the father of Troy Wayne Jeffcoat and his wife Lisa, and Jessie "Herbie" Herbert Jeffcoat. Wayne is the grandfather "PaPa" of Kelly, Nathan, Timothy, and Rebecca Jeffcoat.
Wayne was born in Aiken County to the late James and Mary Ellen Jeffcoat. He is the brother of Ann Strock and her husband O'Neal, Bill Jeffcoat and his wife Connie, Steve Jeffcoat and his wife Barbara, Mickey Jeffcoat and his wife Lou Ellen, the late J.D. Jeffcoat and his wife Judy, and the late Ronnie Jeffcoat.
Wayne is a former United States Marine who served in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. He is a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Where he has served as a Deacon. He was an outdoorsman and an avid hunter. He has also been a devoted grandfather and constant companion to his faithful Lab, Willie Nelson. He was a fervent South Carolina Gamecock fan.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 3 pm on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Red Bank Baptist Church. The family will also receive friends and family at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Clinton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Wright will be officiating.
