Wayne Dennis Kluver, age 68, of Litchfield Minnesota, passed away Thursday February 16th, 2023, at his home. Visitation will be at 12:00 PM Monday February 27th, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria MN, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM.
Wayne was born June 8th, 1955, in Alexandria Minnesota to Ruben and Alpha (Anderson) Kluver. Wayne first lived on a farm outside of Alexandria and has one brother, Melvin (Butch) Kluver. The family soon moved to Minnetonka Mills, then Lakeville, then Shakopee Minnesota where he attended high school and met his wife Michelle (Mickey) Marks, they married in 1974. Wayne and Mickey then moved to Belle Plaine Minnesota where they lived for 38 years. Wayne worked most of his life as a Carpenter. Wayne and Mickey had 3 children, Shawn, Tanya, and Lance. Wayne lived in Killdeer ND for 9 years working with his son Shawn, after he was diagnosed with ALS he spent his last months in Litchfield Minnesota at his lake cabin on Star Lake with his daughter Tanya and son Lance who cared for him.
Wayne spent most of his free time hunting and fishing in many different states. He also had a passion for building classic cars with his son's. He enjoyed his trips to Sturgis SD riding his Harley with family and friends. Wayne loved to spend time with his family and friends, he was a great cook and everyone enjoyed his food.
Wayne is survived by children, Shawn Kluver, Tanya Kluver, and Lance Kluver. Brother Melvin (Butch) Kluver, grandchildren Courtney (Taylor) Grapentine, Tony Kluver, Hunter Kluver, Rieley Kluver, Wyatt Kluver, Adeline Kluver, Sutton Kluver, Truett Kluver, Jake Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Jessianna Skillings. great grandkids, Aspen Grapentine, Nash Grapentine, Faylen Grapentine, Adalynn Nelson, and Aliyza Nelson.
Wayne is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Alfred Anderson and wife Clara, George and Hulda Kluver, his parents Reuben and Alpha Kluver, his wife Michelle (Mickey) Kluver, sister-in-law Marilyn Kluver, and several aunts and uncles.
