Wayne Thomas Leach, age 74, of Georgetown, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Tj Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Ky. He was a retired fire fighter for the Bluegrass Army Depot in Richmond, KY. Wayne was also a Navy veteran who served as a medic in Vietnam. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Betty Jane Sharp Leach; one son Derek Leach; a brother, Robert Larry Leach.
Wayne is survived by one daughter, Kellie Leach (Todd), Bowling Green,KY; four grandchildren, Karajah, Santana, Kingston, and Lerek Leach; one sister, Ingrid Leach, Georgetown, KY; a nephew, Derrick Burns; and special caregiver, Wanda Ray, Magnolia, KY.
Visitation will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4:00- 8:00 PM. CST, at the Brooks Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2026, at 12:30 PM CST, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.
