Wayne Locke, born on June 1, 1950, in the Sulphur Springs Community of McNairy County, TN, the son of the late J.C. and Josie Adele Sweat Locke. He was united in  marriage to Judy C. Droke on August 21, 1970, which lasted for 54 cherished years.

Throughout his early career, Wayne gained valuable skills in construction, which later supported his role as the owner of several rental properties. A man of simple pleasures, Wayne was well-known in the community - he was a member of the local liar's club, where stories were exchanged with laughter and camaraderie over a cup of coffee. Wayne was known for his passion for raising boxers and English bulldogs.

Wayne departed this life on August 26, 2024, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 74 years, 2 months, and 25 days. He is survived by his wife, Judy Locke of Ramer, TN; two sons, Richard Paul Locke and his wife Karen Beth of Corinth, MS, and Corey Locke and his wife Kim of Ramer, TN; two grandchildren, Cassie and Gage; brother, Barry Locke and his wife Anita of Ramer, TN; a sister, Linda Locke of Arlington, TN; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
