Wayne Rainey Miracle, age 72, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Oaks, KY, on August 13, 1953. He was the son of the late Arthur and America Cupp Miracle.
Wayne was an avid reader and a faithful listener of the Lord's word over the radio. He had a deep appreciation for old western television shows, which brought him much joy.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, James Miracle of Miracle, KY, and Virgil Howard of Terre Haute, IN; sisters, Mary Miracle of Terre Haute, IN and Gloria Mae Miracle of Miracle, KY.
Left to cherish his memory are his three sisters, Lillian Wombles of Knoxville, TN, Helen Poppe of Middlesboro, KY, and Loretta Wallace of Terre Haute, IN; one brother, Arthur (Gail) Miracle of Knoxville, TN; nieces and nephews, Justin (Erica) Wombles, Earnest (Licia) Wombles, Jerry (Jennifer) Poppe, Emily Miracle, Katie (Justin) Brown, Amber (Kevin) Gregg, Lisa (Mike) Vorhees, Tammy Gabbard, Lori (Donnie) Michaels, Delilah Higgins, Debra Bonjour, and Carl Jr. Poppe; and special friend, Megan Reed.
Family and friends will meet at 12:00 noon at Cawood Funeral Home, on Friday, October 10, 2025, to travel in procession to Aunt Emily Cemetery, Brownies Creek, KY, where graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with Reverend Clarence Ramsey presiding. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Wayne will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on through the memories of his loved ones.
