Wayne E.B. Dutch Moyer, 72, of Bristol, beloved husband of Janice (Dubois) Moyer, died on Thursday (January 29, 2026) at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Dutch was born on November 30, 1953, in Bellefonte, PA and was a son of the late Wayne E. and Sherry (Keeler) Moyer. He was raised in Bellefonte, PA graduating from Bellefonte Area High School. After high school, he moved to Bristol where he spent much of his life. Dutch worked as a toolmaker for Silgan Dispensing in Thomaston for many years before his retirement. Dutch loved hunting and fishing with his best buddy, Peyton. He enjoyed car restoration, cheering on the New York Giants and watching his favorite movie, Jaws and television show, Gunsmoke. He also loved taking long drives with his wife out in the Litchfield Hills. In addition to his loving wife of 50 years, Dutch is survived by two daughters: Kristin Sundberg and her husband, Brendan and Beth Cummings, all of Bristol; two sisters: Bobbie Jo Scholl and her husband, Charles of Howard, PA and Tammy Beward and her husband, Edward of Flinton, PA; his two beloved grandchildren: Peyton and Autumn Cummings; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother: Timothy Moyer. He also joins his two black labs: Randi and Faye who were waiting to welcome him into Heaven. All services are private.
