Wayne Paul Page, age 84 passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2025 in Conroe, Texas.
Wayne was born on January 17, 1941 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Washington Leroy Page and Myrtis Brooks Page. He graduated from Gulfport High School and Perkinston Jr. College (now Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston) and later attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He joined the military, serving aboard a Navy destroyer with a tour of duty in the Mediterranean.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jane Carol Page Slater; his wife’s (Kathy) parents, Bernice and Moulton McNeill; brother-in-laws, Kenneth (Ken) Slater, Herbert William (Herb) Struss, Bryan Alden Flatt; and a nephew, Daron Patrick Flatt.
He is survived by the love of his life for 52 years, Kathryn Dawn (Kathy) McNeill,his daughter, Rachel Page Barrett (Randy); grandsons Braydon and Skyler Barrett; his sisters Theresa Struss and Elizabeth Ann Flatt and his brother Otis Leroy Page (Betty), sister-in-law, Stephanie McNeill Donoghue (Thomas), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins with whom he remained very close through many years of annual reunions with family.
Wayne served as EVP at the Biloxi, Mississippi headquarters of Keesler Federal Credit Union, an international credit union with branches at military bases in England. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. He was very active in the Rotary Club, serving as president. After retirement, Wayne enjoyed working in his yard and going on adventures with his wife, Kathy as full time RVers enjoying many years of travel around the United States, occasionally taking their grandchildren on some of their adventures.
