Wayne Lamar Perry, age 71, of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 17, 1954, in Hollywood, Florida to late parents, Marion David Head and Ruth Elizabeth Hallman Perry.
Wayne served in the United States Airforce as an Aircraft Mechanic for 21 years. He fought in the war of Desert Shield. He was a simple man who loved his family. Entertaining his passions for motorcycles, gardening, and dogs, specifically his dog, Zues. He grew up between California and Florida, experiencing all different types of cultures and people.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Ruth and stepfather; Richard Perry.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin Perry (Kayleigh) of Greenville, SC and Dale Eagles (Jamie) of Iredell, TX; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers and spouses, Kevin Perry of Thomson, GA, Mike Head (Maria) of Lincolnton, NC, Robert Biton (Shai) of Kansas City, MO, and Jesse Head of Clover, SC; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
