I played the game of poker many years with Wayne. The Sunday before his passing we sat next to each other talking trash as usual. What was different about that day was he gave me a scripture, Proverbs 16:15 dealing with a conversation we were talking about. He didn't know this but the scripture touched me so deeply I posted on FB the next day. Fast forward a few days later he was gone. Man I think that moment of of vulnerability made this hit me different because all the years we played together we never talked biblical. Get the Poker room ready my man and may your spirit rest easy

Wayne.....was a big-hearted man. A positive inspiration of the community; driven-a go getter; wanted others to succeed and gave you truth to what you needed to hear whether you liked it or not; a larger supporter of family-a supportive cousin. Luv u Wayne
