Wayne Edward Rahn. Age 76. Recently of Plainfield, formerly of Orland Park, Calumet City, and Chicago. Graduate of Chicago Vocational High School (CVS). Retired after 44 years of service as a Senior Electrical Designer from Sargent and Lundy Engineers. Longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Orland Park. Husband for 55 years of Alexandra S. nee Szafranski. Father of Jason (Jennifer) Rahn and Jeremy (Kristyn) Rahn. Grandfather of Skylar and Hunter Rahn. Son of the late Eleanor Burzinski and Edward Rahn. Brother of the late Ralph (Joyce) Rahn. Uncle of the late Kenny, Chris (Steve), Eric (Lorena), Brenda, Denise, Lizzy, and Matt. Memorial visitation at Christ Lutheran Church, 14700 South 94th Avenue, Orland Park on Saturday January 27, 2024, from 10:00 am until time of Services 11:00 am. Inurnment Good Shepherd Cemetery, 16201 104th Ave, Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wayne's name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, 2200 E Devon Ave., Ste 392 Des Plaines, IL 60018 or at www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org would be appreciated by the Rahn family.
