Wayne P. REED, 77, of Friendship, NY, died on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in Olean General Hospital.
Born August 24, 1948, in Olean, he was the son of Leland H., Sr. and Velma M. Reed Baker. Wayne attended Oswayo Valley High School and was employed by Bradford Pipe and Supply in Bradford, PA. He was married to Susan L. Halladay, who predeceased him on March 26, 2020.
Surviving are: a son, Michael (Melissa) Moore of Sunbury, PA; a daughter, Joni Stoneham of Wellsville; a brother, Dell (Michelle) Baker of Friendship; a sister, Norma Jean Baker of Ohio; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, David Stoneham; and two brothers, Leland Baker, Jr. and Russel Baker.
A gathering to celebrate Wayne’s life will be held by his family on a later date.
