Wayne Roffers

Wayne F. Roffers, 72, passed away peacefully at home in Oneida, WI on the morning of December 22, 2025, surrounded by love and support from family and friends. Wayne was born in De Pere on April 2, 1953, to the late Irvin and Dorothy Roffers.
Wayne was born and raised in De Pere, where as a child, he learned the value of hard work, grit, and determination while being raised on the Roffers family farm. At age 17, Wayne met the love of his life, Debra L. Kadlec of Green Bay. They married at St. Jude Catholic Church on August 24, 1974. In 1977 Wayne and Debbie established their home in Oneida, where they raised their three sons. Wayne was a well-respected business owner, operating Wayne Roffers and Sons Trucking for over 50 years.
Wayne's lifelong passion always involved racing. As a young man, on the short tracks of Northeast Wisconsin, Wayne quickly established his reputation as a talented driver. Later in life, Wayne instilled his love for racing in his two oldest sons and supported their racing ventures. Wayne also championed the racing operations of several close friends through mentorship, sponsorship, and countless hours in the shop and at the track. Wayne's idea of a proper vacation usually involved a racetrack. It soon became an annual family tradition in February, to take a break from trucking, escape the harsh Wisconsin winters, and head to Daytona, where many wonderful memories were made with family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Debbie; their children Chad (Tammy) Roffers, Luke (Megan) Roffers, Jed (Leah) Roffers; ten grandchildren, Cade, Trennedy, Audrey, Tylee, Alexis, Vander, Deegan, Chael, Conrad, and Alaya; brothers Dan, Eugene (Cathy), and Mark (Sherry), brothers-in-law Ralph Gossen, John (Missy) Kadlec, and sisters-in-law Pam (Fran) Timm, and Jackie Mabes, and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-and-mother-in-law Wayne and Lorraine Kadlec, brother Roger, sister Nancy, brother-in-law Daniel Kadlec, and grandson Dane.
Family and friend may call to Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere, WI 54115, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday December 30, 2025. A eulogy will be provided by Wayne's youngest son Jed, at approximately 7:30pm.
