Thank you to all of Wayne's friends at Tinker AFB.

Far away tears for my brother

With angel wings, you left me today, never to roam on God's earth again.
I close my eyes as the tears start to flow, knowing I need to say good-bye to my baby brother, my friend.
As I walk and talk with God this is what I had to say;
I know my brother is in a better place.
A special place far away.
A place where I cannot go on this given day.
It's not fair to take him there because we'll miss him so.
God said to me; I gave you tears to release your pain and feel the pounding of your broken heart.
To understand the sorrow that I too feel when it's time to part.
I took him home where he should be because he's a part of me.
Dear Wayne,
Living life without you is going to be hard to do. I will cherish the special memories that you gave to me and know they'll get me through.
I saw your pain and felt your sorrow, I knew then, God had to take you home.
And, there would be no more tomorrows.
My tears are my words that I cannot say, with all my tears I hope you know,
I love you very much,
even though you're far away.
All my love
Debbie Michelle

My brother was a man of few words, unless there was a debate, or you were watching a movie with him and he had to tell you ALL about the making of the movie, the actors and so on. LOL
Oh yes and Football, he was a "walking encylopedia" on the Dallas Cowboys!
Otherwise, he was a man of few words :)
He was mostly an introvert, self-sufficient, always observing & questioning why things happened the way they did.
He also had a sensitive side, I remember him putting mints on my pillow when I visited him in Oklahoma and another time he left a stuff animal recording with a greeting of "welcoming me."
I will miss you GREATLY my brother ~ with an unending love.
Your sis Teri
