Wayne K. Sanford, a beloved husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. A successful business owner, avid pilot, and golfer, passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on March 5, 1941, in Canton, Ohio, to Karl and Ruth Sanford and resided in the same community.
Wayne was an exceptional individual who left a special mark on those fortunate enough to have known him. He pursued his passion for aviation, earning his private pilot's license, and enjoyed flying. He enjoyed special times with family and friends. He loved traveling and playing golf.
Wayne was a dedicated businessman in the machinist industry. As the proud owner of Pro Machine, he contributed significantly to the field. His commitment, expertise, and unwavering work ethic were well-known among his esteemed colleagues.
Wayne leaves behind his loving wife, Cynthia Sanford, who shared in his adventures and supported him unconditionally throughout their years together. Their bond was one of profound love and companionship, and Wayne's passing leaves a void that will never be filled for his wife and his family.
Wayne is survived by his wife Cynthia Sanford, brothers Dale and wife Nancy, Bruce, +his daughter Debra, son Tim, Jack and Heidi, Mark and Michelle, Shannon and Seth. Granddaughters Rebecca, and Erinn husband Zachary, Grandchildren Olivia and Ethen and great grandchildren Draven and Avery.
The funeral service to honor Wayne's life will take place on January 16, 2024, at 7:00 pm, at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel 705 Raff Road SW Canton, OH 44710 with Keith Kull officiating. Prior to the ceremony visitation will take place between the hours of 4:00-7:00 at the funeral home.
