Wayne Shafer Obituary
He was born February 2, 1947 in Cadiz, OH to the late Mary Shafer. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He owned his own business providing lawn care to the local area. He loved to stay outside working around the house cutting grass and keeping his place neat and clean. He also cut and split wood to provide heat for the winter. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars in his shop. He dearly loved his family, especially his wife, Donna, to whom he had been married 42 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Donna Meadows Shafer; three children: David Wayne Shafer, Kevin Zachary Shafer, and Christine Nicole Shafer (Colby Gevas); a granddaughter, Calista Soraya Gevas; and a number of other relatives and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time.
