He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank and Ella Mae Shropshire; mother and father-in-law, Lois and Jack Strange; brothers and sisters, Bonnie, James, Ellsa, JF, and Wilma; and grandchildren, Samantha and Daniel.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Shropshire; children, Edna (Brian) Holt, David (Kendra) Shropshire and Harold (Tracy) Shropshire; sister, Lorene Hartsell; brother Gary (Debbie) Shropshire; grandchildren, Kelsey, Jackie, Cody, and Emilee; great-grandchildren, Malorie, Ellie, Beau, Elliot, Carson, Jaxson, Skylar, Natalie, Aiden, Bella, Tex, Wayne and Manson "Squirt"; also other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Shropshire and Rev. Glenn Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
