Wayne Otho Smith, 80, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025. Wayne was born August 4, 1944 in Bleckley County, Georgia, to the late AO Smith and Ellen Knight Smith. He graduated from Peru State College and retired after 20 years from the United States Air Force. He was a REALTOR for over 25 years and a proud member of the North Pulaski Board of REALTORS. Wayne was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood.
Wayne loved golfing, jokes, and his family; especially his grandkids, who were his pride and joy. He loved helping others and will be terribly missed.
He is survived by daughter Heather Luth and husband Kurt, grandchildren Truitt, Abby, and Maddie Luth all of Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 42 years Sandy Smith, and siblings; Archie Smith, Julius Smith, Norman Smith, Richard Smith, Mary Abney, Chrystal Bowman.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main St) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
