Wayne Allen Stange, 89, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born on August 17, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Albert Lincoln Stange and Dorothy Sweitzer.

Wayne had a 37 year career with Com-Ed ending as an Operating Engineer. He was friends with many co-workers who remain friends to this day. He retired to Florida and lived the dream; playing golf , poker and having a fun retirement. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine nee Bensen, son Thomas Stange, brother A. Lee Stange (Barbara), and sister Darlene Neesan (George).

He is survived by his wife Patricia nee Ballard (Meyers),son Jeffrey (Kathy), daughter Lynda Glass (Bill) and step-daughter Lisa Bradley (Terry) and brother Keith (Laurie).

He was also a proud grandfather to six; Justin (Kim), Kaitlyn, Taylor Clark (Matthew), Brandon, Briana, Megan and great grandfather to Reid Clark

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Illinois for family and friends.
