Vinny Vespa passed away on July 8, 2023, at his residence in Clarkstown, NY. He was 62 years old. Son of the late Henry and Alice (DiBiase) Vespa, he was born on October 5, 1960, in Passaic, NJ.
Vinny proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. Known in the town of Monroe as "Vinny the Barber," he will be remembered as a faithful youth sports coach, passionate barber, and loving father.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Joseph Vespa, Nicholas Vespa, Michael Vespa, Vincent Vespa, and Marco Vespa all of Monroe, NY; sisters: Karen Vespa of Middletown, NY; and Kim Titilo and her husband, James of Highland Falls, NY; beloved grandson Rocco Vespa; wife of 25 years Lisa Vespa, and by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel 2 Towers, www.t2t.org.
