Wayne L. Voshell

Wayne L. Voshell, 75, husband of Marta Voshell of Taylors, South Carolina, died Friday, March 27, 2026.

Born in Milford, Delaware he was the son of the late Perlie E. Voshell, Jr. and Goldie P. Letterman Levin.

Wayne was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked in construction until his retirement in 2010. He was an avid bowler who earned State of Delaware Bowling Championships. In 2003, he became an ordained minister at Ohio Christian University, or as his grandchildren called it, his "major award." Wayne was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He could always be found watching every game. He also was a NASCAR Fan. Christian, Justin and Joshua remember him taking them to races in Dover.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his daughter, Lynn Cosden and her husband Mark, six grandchildren, Samantha Crowe, Christian Cosden and his wife Sarah, Justin Voshell, Joshua Cosden and his wife Chloe, Emily Miller and Benjamin Miller, three great-grandchildren, Casen Cosden, Jhene' Miller, Lily Blanton, plus two great-grandchildren on the way, brother Perlie E. Voshell lll, of Saint Louis, MO and Gale Voshell, of Dover, DE.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Voshell.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
