Wayne Lee Ware, age 80, passed away on October 14, 2025.
Wayne proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, dedication, and love for his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Robbie Ware; and grandparents John Lee and Fannie Lee Wilson, Albert Ware, and Joe Lee Grisson
Wayne is survived by his loving spouse Jackie Ware; children Madeline Abbott, Jason (Cindy) Brackett, and Shane Brackett; sister Charlotte Munck and dear friend Shelton Lewis; He also leaves behind six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 19, 2025 at Brittsville Baptist Church from 2:00-4:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Johnson Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Hickman, Mark Moore, E.A Sawyer, Shane Brackett, Gary Hugley, and David G.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Brittsville Baptist Church or Johnson Cemetery.
Wayne will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
