Wayne William Warling

Wayne William Warling of St. Paul, MN was born on September 15, 1940. Those preceding him in death include his wife Mary, parents Verne and Josephine, and brother Keith. Wayne passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Wayne was a loving husband to his wife, Mary, for 60 years. He was a proud father to his sons, Mark and John (Shelly), and took great pride in the family they grew. Wayne was a grandfather to Sarah (Bryan) and Gwen, and took joy in being great-grandfather to Olivia and Zoey.

Wayne attended high school at St. Thomas Academy. From an early age, he demonstrated strong character and leadership, earning the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 15-an accomplishment he carried with pride throughout his life. Wayne later dedicated 47 years of his career to public service as a postman in St. Paul where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and friendly presence in the community.

Outside of work, Wayne enjoyed pursuits that allowed him to engage his analytical mind. He spent much of his time trading in the markets, carefully studying trends and making thoughtful, calculated decisions. At home, he found comfort and companionship with his two beloved cats, Crockett and Tubbs, who were constant and cherished companions.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Mark for the compassionate and unwavering care he gave Wayne. With remarkable patience, dedication, and strength, Mark ensured Wayne was surrounded by comfort, dignity, and love during his most vulnerable moments. His intense commitment and selfless devotion did not go unnoticed and will always be remembered as a true expression of love and respect.

A Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 AM on Thursday, January 8th at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St. St. Paul, with a service to follow. A private Interment for immediate family will be held at Resurrection Cemetery the same day.
