Weldon Auck, 92 of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Monday June 16, 2025, at Altercare of Bucyrus. Weldon was born September 9, 1932, in Seneca County, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Verna (Knieriemen) Auck. He was married May 1, 1954, to Martha (Feichtner) Auck who preceded him in death on April 21, 2005. He was also preceded in death by son Douglas, daughter Mary Ann Zeiter, daughter in laws Robyn and Donna Auck, brothers Willard and Charles Raymond Auck, as well as sisters Eva Pope, Alma Lynch, Naomi Waltz, and Wilma Armitage.
Weldon is survived by children Larry Auck, Steve Auck, Connie (Mike) Smith, Bonnie (Karl “Bud”) Maul, and Roger (Judy) Auck; grandchildren Cindy (Christian) Barth, Lester (Sara) Smith, Jennifer (Scott) Kelly, Jessica (Curtis) Lucas, Hannah Auck, Reuben (Heidi) Auck, Philip (Shelbi) Maul, Annie (Jacob) Gosser, Mariah (Doug) Warner, Becca (Nick) Kocher, and Karla Maul; great grandchildren, Emmett and Ruthie Auck, Eli Warner, Connor and Zachary Lucas, Crofton and Corbin Barth, Vera, Clara, Shiloh, and Faith Kelly, Michaela, Theresa, Samantha and Paul Gosser, and Lucy and Carson and Aubree Kocher ; sister Lois Almendinger, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Weldon was a member of College Hill United Church of Christ. He retired from Mansfield Brass after 35 years and farmed. Weldon was a “John Deere Guy” and enjoyed collecting and restoring peddle tractors, collecting toys, tools, and much more.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the College Hill United Church of Christ with Pastor Mike Ebersole officiating and burial to follow in College Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The family suggests memorials be made to College Hill UCC or Gideons and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
