Weldon James Collins

Funeral services for Weldon James Collins, 87, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Joe Collins, Justin Collins, Josh Collins, Charlie Meyers, Joshua Coats, and Ethan Noble serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brentley Jones, Johnny Hughes, John Parks and Angilo Saville.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Mr. Collins passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 25, 1938, the son of Francis Dail and Jennie (McClaren) Collins.

He was a maintenance mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and one great grandchild.

He is survived by his sons, Frankie Collins and wife, Debbie, of Longview, Texas, Shane Collins and wife, Kathleen, of Midlothian, Texas, Kyle Collins of Blum, Texas, and Rodney Collins of Whitney, Texas; daughter, Kelly Collins of Grandview; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Grand Hospice for the care, comfort, and friendship they provided Weldon to allow us to honor his wishes of being at home.
