Weldon Farmer Obituary
The son of Sue Thorne Farmer and the late, Weldon "Sam" Farmer, Sr., he was born February 7, 1970 in Stephens County, Georgia. He attended Peach County School. He was employed by Quality Foods in the meat department. Steve had a big heart and loved everyone. He was known to his family as Uncle Bobo.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calloway and Essie Farmer, Grant and Hazel Crisp and Hollis Thorne.
Survivors include his mother, Sue Thorne Farmer of Toccoa; sister, Kathy Gilmer; nephew, Allen (Nicole) Gilmer; niece, Nicole (Jamey) Young; seven great-nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Gilmer, Kyle Steadman, Karson Young, Aniston Young, Maddi Gilmer, Karter Young and Camilla Gilmer all of Toccoa; a special aunt and uncle, Sharon and Jim Daniel of Toccoa; a very special cousin, Pat Heaton Gibson of Toccoa.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center nurses Becky, Cindy and Jackie and the remaining staff for their kindness during his illness.
No visitation is planned. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Weldon Steve Farmer, Jr.
