Wen Chang Yang, 84, of Princeton Junction, NJ, passed away on December 16, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1940, in Tainan, Taiwan. Wen was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be dearly missed.
On September 22, 1967, Wen married Huei Mei Huang. They were married for 57 years, during which time they delighted in their children and grandchildren and cherished family gatherings for all occasions.
Wen is survived by his wife, Huei Mei, his brother, Wen Shiong, and his three sons, Roger, Stanley, and Steven, along with his seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Nicholas, Brian, Devon, Madeline, Cooper, and Brady. With his beloved grandchildren, he enjoyed discussing everything from current events and sports to philosophy and good food.
Wen spent his 40-plus-year career as teaching faculty in neuroradiology at Beth Israel and Lenox Hill Hospitals in New York City. Dr. Yang took great pride in the next generation of radiologists, which included his three sons. Throughout his long career, his many colleagues and students came to be inspired by his commitment to the field.
Wen will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm with remarks from the family from 7:00 -7:30 pm on Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton, NJ 08542.
