Wendy Jean Brewer, age 64, of Dayton passed away on July 9, 2024. She was born in Dayton to parents, Clyde and Tay Brewer. Wendy is preceded in death by her mother, Tay; brother, Robert Brewer and grandparents, Ralph and Ethel Buckley as well as Joe and Murriel Brewer.
She is survived by her father, Clyde; siblings, Clyde Jr. (Jackie) Brewer, Tracy (Steven) Watkins; aunts, Margaret Simms, Denna Faye (Andy) Skarupp; uncle, Ralph (Sharon) Buckley and beloved dog, Sydney; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wendy retired from Dimco-Gray Corporation in Centerville. She was a proud member of IUE-CWA Local #755, serving as a former steward and executive on the union board. Wendy enjoyed father-daughter time at the University of Dayton women's basketball games and playing quarter auction bingo with her special friend, Diane. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Wendy's Life will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at David's Cemetery - Mausoleum Chapel, 4600 Mad River Rd.
