Wendy L Grewe

Wendy L. Grewe, age 73, of Unity, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Marshfield Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Interment to follow at the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Teri Hanson will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13 and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday all at the funeral home.
Wendy was born on April 7, 1951, the daughter of Arthur and Lydia (Barts) Weideman in Marshfield. She graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1969 and received a degree in Histology from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wendy was united in marriage on May 15, 1971 to Alan Grewe in Abbotsford. She worked at Phillips Plastics in Medford for 25 years and retired from Weinbrenner Shoes in Marshfield after 13 years.
Wendy enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting and puzzles Most importantly, she loved and cherished her family.
Wendy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alan; three children: Reven Kowalchyk of Appleton, Shannon (Wanda) Grewe of Unity and Crystal Grewe of Greenwood; four grandchildren: Bryce Kowalchyk, Carter Grewe, Shana "Hemi" Grewe and Miles Grewe. She is further survived by her five siblings: Jerry Weideman, Janice (Jim) Mullarkey, Darlene (Warren) Telcott, Nancy Goldschmidt and Jenny (Phillip) Ward; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Mason and her sister, Carol Weideman.
