Wendy Motte Obituary
Born in Woodruff, she was a daughter of the late James Leon and Eunice Eveyln Vaughn Revis. Wendy was an office manager for the Laurens County Sanitation Department.
She loved spending time with her kids and creating moments that she treasured deeply. Wendy loved collecting jewelry and angels. She also loved taking pictures but also being in them to capture memories made with friends and family. An avid fan of the classic television show "Golden Girls," she found laughter in its timeless humor.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kacie Revis, Robert Motte, II., and Cheyenne Motte; grandchildren, Emily States and Aden States; siblings, Mickey Knight, Darlene Brown (David), and Sharon Patterson; special niece, Resa Grubbs; special great niece, Skylar Brown; special friend, Deborah Watkins; and her beloved fur babies, Pup Pup Motte, Girlie Motte, and Purdy Thang Motte.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by siblings, Randy Revis, Robert Knight, Ann Green, and Leonard Knight.
The family will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Ben Rumph with burial at Bethel Cemetery in Woodruff.
The family will be at the home of Darlene Brown.
Memorials may be made to VIA Hospice, 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325.
