Wendy S. Tornberg, 59, of Main Street, Munnsville, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Upstate Medical University, following a brief illness. Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 1, 1965, she was the daughter of Clark and Sharon Ciszar Lewis. A resident of the area since 1986, moving from Illinois, Wendy was educated in Thornton Township High School. Wendy enjoyed music, playing the bass and woodworking. She was of the Christian faith. Surviving are: sons, Joshua Anderson and Jacob Tornberg, both of Oneida and Adam Rifendifer of Munnsville; sister, Tammy Wawrzycki of Hammond, Indiana; brother, Dean Lewis and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, William Cooley and a close friend, Virginia Anderson. Funeral services will be held 1PM, Wednesday October 30, 2024, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida. Interment will be made in St. Helena's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12-1PM, prior to the funeral service.

I remember Wendy from when I lived in Oneida. We became good friends and she even let me live with her a few times when I needed a place . She was a great person and I will miss her. Rest peacefully my friend .
