Wendy M. Wolfe

Wendy M. Thrasher Wolfe, 54, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness on Saturday, January 31, 2026. She was born on September 17, 1971, in Greenville, Pennsylvania to Harry James and Janine (McElree) Moats.

Wendy graduated from Greenville High School in 1989 and went on to earn a degree from Thiel College, in Respiratory Therapy.

She married David L. Wolfe in 2017, and resided in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania.

She loved her children immensely and cherished each milestone and accomplishment they achieved. She was so proud of the amazing individuals they have become.

Wendy was especially passionate about animal welfare. Her love for animals was profound, and she helped in any way she could.

Wendy is survived by her loving parents, Harry and Janine Moats; husband, David L. Wolfe, Pine Grove, PA; her four children, Brandon Thrasher, Mercer, PA, Gabrielle Thrasher and her fiancé, Joe Lawrence, Pittsburgh, PA, Sarah Stell Weikal, Greenville, PA, Brianna and her husband, Matt; grandchildren, Liam, Sebastian, Lucas, Emlynn and Stella; her brother, James Moats, Greenville, PA; and several nephews.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
